Logan had been taking a few steps here and there but he really started walking the day we went to Cabella's to watch the fish feeding with cousins, Uncle Quin and Papa. If you have never experienced the fish feeding you should check it out, it is so fun to watch the fish go crazy when the food is put in the tank. Ever since that day he has been all over the place, getting into everything and making messes; His balance has greatly improved and he has started running a lot too. After watching the fish in the big tank be fed we went and fed the fish in the little pond.
Loren enjoyed holding the leash on Logan's backpack.
They also enjoyed playing in the tents together.I LOVE Logan's "cheese". Any time you tell him to say cheese for the camera this is the face you get. It looks even better with the spaghetti.
We went to Salt Lake to the children's part of the Church History Museum with cousins and Uncle Quin. The cousins loved checking out the reflecting pool and playing in the water. Logan had fun checking out all the fun things at the museum.
We were given a Turtle sandbox by Grammie and Papa. Logan loves to be outside as much as possible and enjoys getting sand all over.
We once again went to the 5 Star Ranch with the Smith family for a weekend. This year there was a horse named Annabelle that loved to eat apple cores the kids had to feed her. Logan LOVES horses. He wasn't so sure about the trampoline but I think that's because he was still working on his balance and a lot of the bigger kids were always bouncing so he was a little uneasy. In the room we stayed in there is a little door that leads into a little room. Logan loved playing with the door since it was just his size.Logan loves his cousin Sidnee who he calls Nene. Any time we are with the family he immediately finds Sidnee to play with or gets her to carry him.
We had the opportunity at the end of May to go to St George. Steve DeLana and their kids joined us for the weekend. We had a blast spending a day hiking at Zion National Park and having them show us a couple of the fun parks they have in St George. We have decided that St George is one of our new favorite vacation places.
Here is Nene holding Logan's hand as we get ready to go on out first hike/walk up to the beginning of the narrows.
All the kids.
Nap time. I was worried Logan wouldn't fall asleep, but it didn't take long once we got him into the backpack for him to start falling asleep, he had the worst bobble head, I helped him lay his head down on the little pillow and daddy's back and he slept for a little while.
My brother Jacob graduated from High School.
Jake is with Mrs Willmore the choir teacher that Megan, Kayla and I also had in high school.
I love this picture of Jake giving Grandma a kiss.
Logan and I went to the Thanksgiving Point Farm for the first time. We went with Pam Logan's vision therapist with PIP and a few other families who Pam works with. Logan got to pet a goat, pony and baby bunny rabbit. We went on the wagon ride and then walked around to see the other animals and of coarse his favorites were the Horses.
Logan and I went to the Orem Summerfest Parade while Daddy was at work. We got to see a motorcycle cop fender bender. I made the mistake of taking Cali, she was so freaked out she hid under the stroller the whole time. They had a couple of horses that walked down the middle of the street to start all the floats and other parade stuff and Logan was so excited to see them; he pointed at them and was just jabbering away as they walked in front of us. After we got home and it got dark we watched the fireworks from our living room window, once again Cali got scared and hid under the bed.
Logan has discovered the sprinkers and it is kind of hard to keep him out of them now.
