BIG week!

Monday March 8 we went to the Fourth District Court in Provo and finalized Logan's adoption. Logan must have known it was an important day because he "talked" all the way to the courthouse as loud as he could. My cousin Michelle was our Lawyer. Our caseworker Paige took the pictures for us. It went really fast and Logan took a little cat nap during it and woke up just in time for pictures.
After the proceedings were done Judge McVey came and took some Pictures with us.

Jaxon was being camera shy for the group picture.

Jaxon with Logan waiting while we got copies of all the court documents.

Tuesday night Logan was sitting all by himself so I started taking pictures. This was the second time he has sat this long all by himself.

He started to get really tired. But oh so cute!

Wednesday March 10 we went to the Mount Timpanogos Temple and had Logan sealed to us. It was such a great experience. He just stared at the sisters that took care of him in the children's room. He didn't make one sound the whole time we were in the temple.
Here is our cute little family just outside the temple when the sealing was done.

Kat took some pictures for us; I think this is the only picture she ended up being in, and of course she is taking a picture. It was really cold and windy. Logan stayed nice and warm all wrapped up in his blankets.

Here we are with our parents.

My cousins Chad, Holly, Elizabeth and Taryn with us.

Our friends Justin and Kellie.

Mason, Sidnee, Raven and Jaxon holding Logan.

My whole family.

We went to dinner at Los Hermanos in Lindon. Logan with Holly and Chad and one of our 3 waiters in the background. We had 32 family members come to dinner, it was a big loud group but we had a lot of fun.

Logan with Taryn
Sunday March 14 we Blessed Logan. It was a very nice blessing!
The only hard thing was our ward is at 9 and it was daylight savings. I was so worried we wouldn't make it to church on time but we did it; we got their early.
Our house was packed with family and friends after; it was awesome. We are so blessed to have so many family and friends to join us for these special occasions.

Logan was hungry so his Great Grandma Farnsworth fed him.
This is the only family picture we got on Sunday. I didn't even get any pictures of Ryan with Logan while Ryan still had his tie on. They wore matching ties. They looked so good.
After everything started to calm down Logan was hanging out with his Grammie and Jacob came to say Hi. Logan loves to put his hand on peoples faces. I love this picture.
Logan laying on the floor in his handsome blessing outfit. He wore the same thing for the temple but a white tie and no shoes.
Can you tell he's tired?
We got him changed out of his nice clothes wrapped him up in one of his favorite blankets and he fell sound asleep in Quinton's arms.
We had such a great week. It is so nice to know that Logan is ours forever. He is our handsome little boy and we Love him so much.
Thank you to everyone who were able to join us for the various activities throughout the week, we really appreciate all the love and support that we have received!

6 month stats

So I forgot to post Logan's stats after his 6 mo check up last Tuesday.
Weight 12# 15 oz (.51%)
Length 25 7/8" (24.39%)
Head 15 3/4" (.27%)
He is tall, skinny and has a little head! But we wouldn't have him any other way. Everyone keeps saying he's so small but, if you consider he's gained almost 10 pounds in 6 months he's right where he should be!
Logan has gotten really good at rolling from his stomach to his back. He doesn't yet roll back to his stomach yet, he really doesn't like his stomach. He much prefers his back. He loves to chew on his fingers and drools everywhere. He smiles and has the cutest little giggle; of course Uncle Quinton gets him to giggle better than anyone else. He loves to pull on Cali's face, she is such a good dog she just sits there and when he stops starts to lick his hands. It is really cute to watch.

We go to Court on Monday to finalize his adoption. The Temple Wednesday to have him sealed to us and next Sunday is his blessing! It has gone so fast, it is amazing. Looking back 6 months ago I really thought it would be forever, but here it is. We are so blessed and Love our little Logan. He is our son!
